I started out on the 1st November to raise €1,000 for Action Prostate Cancer. Through donations from my friends, family and contacts I am delighted to say that, to date, €1,155 has been raised.
Many thanks for all of your support throughout the month. I have been laughed at, slagged and applauded for my feeble attempt at a moustache. Yes it was poor and all I can say is that I hope it will be better next year.
Here is a short video of my journey through the month of Movember which I hope you enjoy.
Movember 2010 - The Journey
Please take a moment to consider the following.
The most recent data shows that there were 2,758 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in 2009 in Ireland and men in Ireland have a one in nine chance of developing prostate cancer during their lifetime.
It is not too late to make a donation. Please click on the link below

Action Prostate Cancer, an initiative of the Irish Cancer Society, will use the money raised by Movember for the development of programs related to awareness, public education, advocacy, support of those affected, and research into the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of prostate cancer.
Many thanks again,
John
